Global
Scuba Diving Inc. vous offre différentes méthodes de formation pour devenir
plongeur ou en apprendre davantage et poursuivre votre formation.

ÉTUDIANTS PAR CLASSE PAR PROFESSEUR.
Les standards sont plus permissifs mais nous voulons un contact
personnalisé et direct avec les gens.
La majorité de nos cours sont privé ou semi privé SANS AUCUN COÛT
SUPPLÉMENTAIRE et nous sommes comparable ou inférieur à la compétition.
Dans le
monde où nous vivons, nous sommes entourés de choses à faire et si nous ne
prenons pas le temps d’arrêter pour faire ce que nous voulons, le temps nous
manque.
THÉORIE
Apprentissage en ligne : La partie théorique est
faite en ligne en s’inscrivant à Global Scuba Diving. Il est alors possible de vous aider et de
suivre votre évolution.
Cours en salle de classe : Vous venez en salle de
classe, dans nos locaux, selon un horaire préétabli. La fréquence de vos formations est selon
vos disponibilités et selon vos besoins.
Dans le confort de votre foyer : Vous venez nous rencontrer
et vous repartez avec les documents nécessaires ainsi qu’un échéancier qui
devra être respecté le plus possible.
Vous devez être discipliné. Une
fois les lectures et les quiz complété, nous nous rencontrons pour corriger
le tout et lorsque vous êtes prêt à passer l’examen théorique, nous y allons.
Une combinaison des trois : Il est possible de choisir
une combinaison des trois méthodes mentionnées ci-haut.
Dans
toutes ces méthodes, notre personnel qualifié est toujours là pour vous aider
et répondre à vos questions. N’hésitez

PRATIQUE
Une fois
la théorie complétée, il est nécessaire de se pratiquer dans un endroit
sécuritaire appelé milieu protégé. Il
s’agit habituellement d’une piscine ou d’un endroit se rapprochant des
caractéristiques d’une piscine.
Nous
pratiquons une vingtaine d’exercices qui nous permettent d’être à l’aise avec
ce nouvel équipement. À titre
d’exemple, est-ce facile de respirer dans l’eau avec une bouteille, un masque
et un régulateur dans la bouche? Que
fait-on si mon masque se rempli d’eau?
Donc, nous apprenons quoi faire, comment le faire, pourquoi le faire,
etc. Les exercices se terminent quand
nous sommes à l’aise dans l’eau.
L’étape
suivante, qui est une formalité est de refaire ces même exercices mais dans
un milieu naturel, là où vous serez appeler à plonger : un lac, une
rivière, une mer, un océan, etc.
Lorsque vous avez refait les exercices à la satisfaction de
l’instructeur, vous recevrez une carte temporaire en attendant de recevoir
votre carte PADI qui est accepté partout dans le monde et vous pourrez
plonger jusqu’à une profondeur de 60 pieds seulement.
Comme
vous l’avez vu en théorie, la pression de l’eau a des effets sur nous et
notre équipement. Si vous voulez aller
voir plus profond ce qui se passe, vous poursuivrez votre formation avec le
cours avancé qui ne dure qu’une fin de semaine et qui vous permet d’aller
jusqu’aux limites permises avec l’air.
Plus profond, cela devient de la plongée technique car vous avez
besoin de mélange d’air et de paliers de décompression.
Chaque
plongeur a des attentes différentes de ce qu’il veut voir durant ces
plongées. C’est la raison pour
laquelle il existe des cours de spécialités.
Vous voulez identifier les poissons ou pénétrer dans les épaves, ou
prendre des photos, etc. Qu’à cela ne
tienne, vous suivez les cours qui vous intéressent pour les spécialités. Après 5 spécialités, PADI vous reconnaît
comme un Maître de la plongée et votre carte de certification le confirme.
Vous
voulez faire de l’argent avec la plongée, à partir de divemaster vous avez le
droit de charger pour les services offerts.
Vous pouvez organiser des plongées, faire de la recherche et
récupération pour un voisin qui a perdu son moteur, aider les instructeurs,
etc.

Training Methodology

your diving education.
GLOBAL SCUBA DIVING NEVER GO
ABOVE 6 STUDENTS PAR CLASS PER INSTRUCTOR.
The standards are more permissive but we want to keep a more personnalize
approach and stay in contact with the client.
The majority of our courses are private and semi-private AT NO EXTRA
COST and we are as good as or lower than the competition.
In the world where we live, we
are surrounded by things to do and if we don’t take to stop to do what we
want, we will run out of time. Let’s
take the time.
THEORY
eLearning: The theory part is done
with Internet by subscibing with Globel Scuba Diving. It will than be possible for us to help you
and foolow your evolution.
In classroom:
You come in classes, in our store, with a schedule that we discussed. The frequency and the time if the training
go with your availability and your needs.
In the confort of your home:
You first meet us and you go back home with all the documents you need and we
discussed a schedule that should be respected as much as possible. You must be organised. One the reading and quiz are completed, we
meet again to correct all that and once you are ready for the theory exam, we
complete that part.
A combination of the three:
It is possible to choose a combination of thoses three methods discuss above.
In all those methods, our
qualified personnel is always there to help you and reply to your
questions. Don’t hesitate to contact

PRACTICE
Once the theory is completed, it
is necessary to practice in a safety zone called protected zone. Normally, it will be a swimming pool or a
place the caracteristics are similar to pool.
It doesn’t have to be a pool.
We practice around 20 exercices
that will prepare you to be at ease in the water with that new
equipment. To show you some exercices,
you will find out if it is difficult to breath underwater with a mask, a tank
and a regulator. What do we do if
there is water in my mask? We learn
what to do, how to do it, why, etc.
Thoses exerciceswill end when we will be at ease with all of them,
under water.
The following step, which is a
formality, is to redo these exercises but in an open water zone, a natural
place such as where you will dive: a lake, a river, a sea, an ocean,
etc. Once you have done all the
exercices to the instructor’s satisfaction, you will receive a temporary card
until you will recive your PADI card that allows you to dive anywhere in the
world to a maximum of 60 feet only.
As you saw it in theory, the
pressure of the water on you and your equipment varies in the water. If you want to go deeper and see what is
there, you continue your training to the Advanced level. This is a one week end course (5 dives) and
you will be allowed to dive up to the limit with air. Deeper than that will require you to go
with technic diving, multiple gas blending and decompression technique that
you have to master.
Each diver wants different
things during a dive. It is why there
are a lot of specialties. You want ti
identify fishes or you want to penetrate on a wreck or you want to take
pictures or video of your experiences, those are specialties. You can follow the course for each
specialty that you are interested in. After
5 specialties, PADI recognise you as Master Scuba Diver and have a new
certificatgion card to show to your friends.
You want to make money with
scuba diving, starting at Divemaster, you have the right to charge for your
services. You can organise diving
activities,. You can search and recover your neighbord motor that he lost
with his boat, you can help the instructor, etc.
